I have a 1992 Toyota Pickup with the 22RE
It has suddenly behaved badly...
Engine suddendly quit....it will resart for less than a second. When cold it will restart and idle very roughly.
the vehicle has a standard Trans and no A/C while keeping the clutch depressed and while it's idling roughly and feeding it gas,,,the moment you move the shift lever into a gear while holding the clutch depressed the engine stops. The engine will restart while lever is in the neutral position. It sputters and idles poorly...when engine reach temp...it stops..and returnd to the scenario at first starts and stalls...
Any ideas? Mass air flow?....or something else?
