Has anyone replaced a main blower motor? My Haynes manual is hopelessly obscure and I'm wondering if I start taking things apart if it is a complicated procedure. Any advice is appreciated

You gone have to take things apart. But that's not the bad part, these cars are made to take stuff easily. My suggestion is to use caution when taking off the instrument panels. You might have to get under the hood too. Do it now, before next winter :)

Hey Jay,
You've probably already tackled the job, but, just in case you've not, here's my two cents. I replaced the blower motor on my '91 Previa. It was a knuckle-scraper, but I was able to do all from under the hood and did not have to remove any of the dashboard. Good luck.

I replaced one in a 92 Previa. Replacing it was not bad at all. I did run into trouble with the blower motor that I got from the junk yard. It was from a 91 Previa. It looked the same as the 92 blower but the mounting holes for the screws are different. I had to use the parts from the 91 blower and put them in the 92 case. This was a lot of trouble.
