I've had the Tacoma for a month now and noticed a few days ago that the left rear quarter is quite a bit lower than the right when viewed from behind. This wasn't the case when I drove the truck off the lot. The front suspension seems fine. I suspect it's a left rear suspension problem, and would appreciate any comments/suggestions as to a fix and/or possible cause of the lean. Also, (dumb question ahead!) will driving the truck with this problem cause any damage?

Thanks in advance for feedback!

I also have a 2000 Tacoma and noticed the same thing. I'm not sure what is causing it. However, I'm also very interested in finding out why it leans.

I have a 1999 Tacoma TRD and I've actually noticed that it is significantly lower on the right side compared to the left. The front seems to be even but if you look at it from behind, you can definately see the difference. I never knew anyone else noticed it too!!

The general consensus is that a Taco will sit high on the drivers side to compensate for driver and weight of full in the tank...

John
1999 XtraCab SR5 4x4
2.5" Corns
Warn AALs
31" BFG KOs
and a useless K&N Filter...
TTORA New England http://ttora-ne.mainpage.net
