Hey,
I'm a new guy so I better introduce myself.

I bought a 1986 MR2 right off the showroom floor in 86. I had the car for about 3 years and then had some financial problems. I was going to sell the MR2 but my parents decided to take over the payments for me. They've had the car ever sense. My dad just recently ran the car hot and now it's pouring coolant out of the exhaust and #3 cylinder is wet. My dad started to pull the engine apart but gave up. He gave the car back to me. So now I'm trying to decide if it's worth fixing or not.

Which ussually goes first the gasket or the head? I think I can replace the gasket myself but if the head or block are cracked..... well then it might be off to the scrap pile for MR2.

Any help you can give me would be great!
Thanks, Jay
