Hi everyone! I'm new here and sick to death of my Volkswagen. They're all I've ever owned, and frankly, if I have to put one more cent into my car, I might cry!

Anyway, I'm looking into getting a 5-dr 5-spd Yaris or a 5-spd base model package B Matrix, and I'm just looking for people's experience with and opinions on these cars so I can make a better decision when getting my next car! I want to know the good, the bad, the ugly...everything!

Thanks so much!
Cheers!

I love my new Yaris sedan at 3000 miles. Whatever you do don't buy a Korean car!!! My Kia Rio didn't even last 100000 miles. All Korean cars suck!

Yaris is the little car that could. All good and lots of fun. Rather nice looking for the economy class and it feels like luxury.

I'd take a Yaris over the most expensive Ford money can buy. I've got a Ford mini van (new two years ago) and it is in the shop all the time. Something is always wrong with it and we take care of our cars. I'm looking at Toyotas too so I'm also curious about the good, bad, and ugly. Thanks for your post Justthetwoofus.

We have a 4-runner with over 470,000 miles on it. Believe it or not, the dealer I spoke with said it's still worth some money. He said that Toyotas are one of those cars that the milage isn't that big of a deal because they are made to keep going. Call them the energizer bunny of the car world.
