Hello everyone!

I drive a 1985 Toyota Tercel Wagon 4WD and i have for many years! (This is actually my 3rd of the kind), But im having a problem with the Electrical in it, yesterday i had all my warning light on my dash come on (except for the Low oil light) and soon after drained all my juice to all my electrical, but here's the catch the car mechanically still runs 100% my alternator is still working properly, and to my knowledge my alternator should run my car mechanically and electrically even if the battery was toast!?! Any ideas anyone??

Also anyone have any idea were i can find myself the Toyota Tercel 1985 Repair Manual??

Thanks!!
Marvin

You can still buy most factory service manuals directly from Toyota. If you have a owner's manual for your car the number should be there. You can also access Toyota repair information for a daily fee.

As for the "Christmas tree effect" which we call it on our Land Cruiser group when all the lights light up on your dash It usually means the alternator is failing. If your battery is dead or going dead your car won't run right either.
