hey all, I've just purchased my second toyota truck on friday! My old 88 was dying, so i finally got a new "used" tacoma 2000. But... Last night while driving, the "emergency break light" kept coming on when I accelerated fast. Then once i hit 3rd gear it would go off. If I started off in first gear slowly, it wouldn't come on either, only when i punch it. I checked the manual, and it means the break fluid is low. So I checked it and yes, it was a tad low. But today, I topped it off, and just took it out for a spin, and it's doing it again! I'm very confused because it's full, but still seems to be a fluid problem. It even comes on when I make a sharp turn. Any suggestions? Thanks Cyen PS> I'm already planning on taking up to the toy dealership first thing tuesday morn.

Nevermind. I figured it out. For some reason, there are two break cylinders?! There was the main one, and a much smaller one off to the side. I had filled the one on the side, but thought the main was was power steering. But after looking more closely at the caps they are both for the breaks. I never heard of having two before. Strange. If anyone know's why I'd be interested to find out. Thanks anyway cyen
