Hi All,

I'm totally new to the Toyota world and especially campervans! I made an impulse purchase at the weekend and I must admit I am very happy and excited about the new addition to the fleet - 1985 Hiace camper.

The camper has obviously been well looked after because the bodywork is virtually unmarked.

I am keen to get stuck in to any mechanics (I am also on my 2nd Westfield sports car) so here's what info I have managed to establish up to now:

Model - YH61
Engine - 3Y (1998cc Petrol)

Please correct me if i'm wrong.

I am very keen to hear from any owners of similar vehicles to establish what to look for in terms of reliablility and maintenance. Can anyone recommend a workshop manual? I've done a search and Haynes didn't seen to produce one for this particular model.
