Hello! I might be the owner of an FJ40 tomorrow afternoon. It is in ROUGH shape, but for only $800, what do you expect?! I'm hoping somebody will be kind enough to chat with me to answer some of the dozens of questions I have. Right now, it looks like I will need good used and new parts suppliers, a brake booster, fuel tank, seats, some body parts, and I don't know what else yet! I live near UCLA (unwanted corner/lower alabama), and this will be my first Land Cruiser. I'm hoping to have it drivable (is that a word?)--I'm hoping I can drive it by spring. I have done some mechanical work before (brakes, water pump, timing belt on a honda accord), so I know i have *some* talent, but I don't know how much yet. Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Tim
