I just picked up my '08 Avalon Limited this weekend.
I'm looking for a clean way to power the GPS. Is there somewhere I can easily tap into under the dash and/or behind the radio? I did not opt for the in dash GPS as I read poor reviews across the board. Coming from Garmin's latest line of GPS', I was not willing to downgrade and was willing to sacrifice the benefit of in-dash.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to power from any power source, just make sure you do not power from a shielded wire or you could mess up other features of your car.

Donmac, I two am trying to power my Garmin somewhere other then the under power plugs in the console. Have you had any success in the endeavor ?
