i bought my carolla about a year ago. About 4 months ago i started it and i noticed it sounded strange- running heavy but consistant. i attempted to turn it off but it continued to cranc. i drove it 3 blocs with the heavy running and attemped to shut it off again which it did not. after trying a dozen times to turn it off i finally just left it in the off position and it died after about 15 seconds. i poped the hood and checed all of my connections(all fine except for one bairly loose spar plug wire. started it again and it ran and turned off fine. That problem didnt reoccur until about a month ago where it did the same thing started/ran odd and faid to turn off. this time i drove about 4 miles and had to stop at a light. the heavy running stopped and the car drove fine after that. i havent had that problem since but have had other starting troubles starting about 10 days ago(see previous forum:95 carolla starting trouble). any ideas?

If you checked all your connections and they were fine, could it be your fuel injectors? Sounds like the gas is not flowing evenly or something.
