I just got my new 2000 Taco and its very cool. I have done a couple of oil changes and find that the filter is a bitch to get at and the thing has some small amount of pressure in it so when I losen it oil goes all over the stuff underneath. Any tips on how to avoid the mess and an easier technique to remove the filter. Thanks!!!!

yea, they have relocator kits to relocate your filter. they sell them at any auto store.
