I was wondering if anyone knew how many times a year should you get your oil changed? Is there a certain amount that will keep your car maintained.

Don't go by how many times a year you should change your oil, go by mileage. Not sure where you got your information from, but go by mileage first. If you don't drive that much then every 3 months or so.

On a Toyota, you do it every 5,000 miles.

3 months or 5,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Not if you only drive 3000 miles per year!

You must be really old! And have very low mileage on your car! :)
