Hi, trying to change my first oil filter. I saw some info that the FRAM P8A works for the 2.8L. Anyone know what FRAM filter works? Otherwise where do you go for some good filters at a good price?

Most auto part stores have a book or some computer screen that will let you look up the right filter for your Toyota.

I generaly just get a filter from the dealer when I am down there anyway.

What filter is best? Questions like that have started almost more wars then "What oil is best."

I called a couple of Toyota dealers, and was surprised the price varied from $13.30 to $18.62. In any case the FRAM equivalent from the following site is PH8A. I'll check at Canadian Tire for the price.

I don't have the user manual, anyone have the recommended change oil interval?

I'd like to know the oil and filter change interval too. I heard that it's much more often than on gas engines.
