Even though it's a reconditioned motor, it should have warranty on it. How many kilometres have you driven with it so far ?

Usually when oil and coolant mix its a faulty head gasket. Did the engine overheat recently ?

not that i know of, i didnt even know i had one till i hade to put it in the new motor, its that big plate behind the oil filter housing.
it sits in the coolent jacket with the oil circulating through plates. hence oil leaking in to the coolent.

also im in aus i have noidea where everyone is from but yeah

my old engine was stock 94 non turbo with the cover over the rockercover with a sound deadner or something there and the new motor does not have this....both motors are non turbo.

So it is not visible when the filter housing is bolted to the engine block? Hmmmm maybe I have one too...

I also am in AUS, I live in Adelaide.
