Hi, We are looking at buying a new Rav 4 V6 and was wondering if anyone can tell us if when you have a trailer connected, can you still open the back door? I had a 3 door Rav 4 2000 model and we couldn't open the back door when the trailer was hitched which was a bit of a pain, but the back set up looks different in the new larger models. I can't seem to find anyone complaining about this but am curious as this could be our final deciding factor...

If you're doing that much towing, look into a 4Runner. The RAV's rear door is a bit large and will most likely interfere unless your trailer has a long tongue. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/s12.gif)
