i am a newbie and have already posted something.
but i forgot my overheating problem...
i had a burst pipe (cooling system) that was full of my radiator core.
on occasion my engine gets really extremely hot.
not sure if when i get my trans done if i swap the engine over also or would flushing it do it???

I had a little difficulty understanding your question; however, I dont think you need to swap out your engine to solve your overheating problems. Check the radiator to see if there are any leaks or holes in it or if there are any significant bends in the front of it. You also said you had a pipe burst, well that I hope you had that fixed b/c that could be the source of the problem as well.
