Hi folks, I'm a new member, have recently acquired a ST183 4ws convertible, JDM import. I'm just getting it back into shape as it has been mildly ignored by its previous owner, and has been standing for about 5 months. Still, just passed its MoT, which is great. Its problem at the moment is that intermittently the engine will stall, and I get a "check engine" light. It seems to always restart quickly, though. I checked the fault code yesterday, and it's 21, which is the oxygen sensor. I'll try the procedure in the Chilton manual to check its function later, but my question is - does anyone know where to source a replacement? Having seen Toyota quotes for almost as much as I paid for the car(!) on various lists, and also pattern replacments on the net for about 30 quid, I figure it would be good to know where to buy from! Also any details about its part number, how many wires, thread size, etc, if anyone knows, would be really useful Thanks, Bill

Chris Wilson used to be the man for good quality O2 sensors, you'll still need to find out if it's 4 wire or 2 wire but once you know that he'll sort you out. Try Contact Chris on 01948-841581 or chris@.... Mine has been giving a code 21 for as long as I can remember, I had the manifold heat shield off the other day while replacing the alternator and I couldn't see mine where I thought I'd seen it before?
