I had the parking brake adjusted some time ago (2 years?) during servicing. Recently (6 months?, time flies) the parking brake light came on. Yesterday during a local drive, the front end shimmied some, and it felt just like the parking brake was on, even tho the handle was all the way down. The right front wheel was overheated. Does the parking brake use the right front wheel only? If so, how do you adjust the brake? Can a non-mechanical type like me install a new wheel bearing? I remember from years ago that a wheel bearing had to be packed, but the new ones might be sealed. I need to either adjust or disable the parking brake, or fix the wheel bearing, as I will need a car to drive to work on Monday. Thanks.
