the driver side still works. tried removing/replacing fuse to reset, but no luck. you can hear a click in the mechanism when the button on the remote or inside is pressed, but no action. think it's a bad motor or is there a way to reset that motor?

I don't think you can reset it, but maybe I'm wrong. With me, it's always been a bad motor which has to be replaced.

No, but anyplace else will probably have to order the part rather than having it on hand. Just saves time.

thanks for the help!

it also looks like the cable inside the mechanism lost tension. i tried to tighten it when i saw this, but the thing just clicks.

the spare tire holder broke on us a little while back, and i was able to get the part from an online salvage database. i'll give that a shot first. i'm sure the dealer will want > $300 for it. do you know if the motor comes with a new cable assembly?

I am having the same problems with the passenger sliding door on our 2001 Sienna. I give up. I have tried all of the resets that are listed and to no avail. Now the Power Door light on the dash will not go out and the door is shut and locked. We are going to use it as a manual door. Do you know how to get the light on the dash to go out?
