l have just had a petrol leak from the fuel rail at number one injector, after the garage had stripped everything down they found the O ring at fault plus the injector bottom seals had also perished and they were letting air into the inlet manifold. Having replaced them and fitted new O rings on the injectors the fuel leak is cured, and now the mixture is back to what it should be ( and the ECU not having to constantly deal with the erratic tickover caused by the air leak ) the car ticks over like a dream. And as an added bonus it pulls like stink when the loud pedal is pressed, and if driven normally the MPG goes up too. Cost was about ?20.00 for the parts and a labour bill for ?50.00, well worth every penny !
