Vehicle: 2005 4WD V6 Toyota Highlander

The cup holder in between the driver and the front passenger has a plastic piece that slides in and out and separates the compartment in two to hold 2 cups; the plastic piece has 2 spring-action, folding plastic pieces on each side to hold each cup in place. This plastic piece broke; I am looking to replace it.

I've been trying very hard to find an online store that has this -- can anyone recommend one? I looked in my Toyota owner's manual and can't find the name for the part.

I attached a picture from edmunds w/ the part circled, just to clarify...

Thx,
Bill

Whenever I call my Toyota Parts Department (Randy) he is always helpful in providing the part number, description, and of course the price.

Did you guys call the parts dept ?

I have a link to a reputable salvage yard in California if you want to contact them.

Did you try EBAY...they have a ton of parts for cheap in comparison to dealership prices. Also call local junkyards...I have had great success with yards, although it can be time consuming.

Have you checked out Ebay I think they might have what you're looking for... it's a good place to start. Hope you're able to fix it. Take it easy! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/57.gif)

I did see some on ebay...but not sure if it was exactly what you are looking for...I would assume something like this may not be too costly if you purchased it from the manufacturer.

I found the part online and not on Ebay. I bought a used Highlander from a dealer and it didnt come with floor mats, the cup holder insert, or a cargo cover.

Has anyone found a cheaper version of this?

Right now its $20 with $8 shipping and handling

Thanks

I know several have told you to search ebay but have you put a listing in the want it now section? I know several salvage yards here search ebay want it nows and then add the listing when they see someone needs that exact part... Just a suggestion. I would recommend it. Also you may try craigslist.

I too bought a used 2007 Highlander and it is missing the front cup holder insert, floor mats and tonneau cover. One place around here wanted $672 for the tonneau cover...YIKES! Any suggestions?

I bought my cupholder piece from here Toyota Part Sales

As for the original floor mats and tonneau cover I would check Ebay. Also check under your rear mat, where the spare tire is. I actually didnt check there when I bought my car and turns out there was a tonneau cover stored there. Lucky me, I avoided paying $100+ for one on ebay.

Good Luck
