I'm new to this so I apologize for my inexperience. I have a 94 Toyota pickup. It's a 4 cylinder. I bought it with a plow for $700. I used it the first time the other day and noticed the plow kills the battery. I replaced the old one for a new bat. I was wondering if there are any alternator upgrades or something else to help the truck keep up. So far I love the truck just looking to make it better. Thanks for the advise.

I don't live in the snow belt, and I have only seen a plow on TV, so I may be wrong. What uses power on a plow? Extra lights? The arm that moves it up and down?

The stock atl is a 70 amp model. I am thinking it should keep up unless something is wrong.

It's a combination of the lights with a electric pump for the hydrolics. The pump is the killer
