I have an 03, and the A/C output is poor. There doesn't seem like there is much airflow coming out of the vents. I have to run in recirculation mode in order to get enough cooling, and still the air output is low. If I turn off the recirc, the airflow picks up some, but then I don't get as much cooling.

I can check the freon level and add if need be, but I'm thinking there is a problem with not enough airflow. How can it cool without it?

Thanks.

I had the same problem with my 03 toyota corolla. You need to change your air filter under you glove box.
