My 02 Tacoma x-cab SE-5 4X2 2.4L autotrans is loosing gas mileage. I have 31,000 miles on her, drive combo city/highway and get around 17mpg. I was getting around 21mpg before I changed my spark plugs and fuel filter. I used OE plugs but a NAPA fuel filter (local toyota dealer was out). I know the plugs are gapped correctly and installed correctly, as is the install on the fuel filter. Could using an aftermarket fuel filter effect the gas mileage? I am baffled! Any help? One other thing, I use chevron regular gas. Thanks.

Never mind, I'm back to over 20mpg. Must have been some garbage gas, changed stations where I get my fuel and my mileage returned. Thanks for the no responses, bye. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/s12.gif)
