My 1992 Celica 4WS GTR has a problem with the front drivers side (right) pop up headlight. Problem: When I turn on the lights, the left light pops up only. I get under the car and manually wind up the light using the small wheel on the base of the motor. When I turn off the lights again, both lights pop down ok. If I then turn on the lights again, only the left light pops up. Solutions tried: I fitted another motor assembly to the light but the same things happened as described above. I then fitted a retractor control box (blue, in the dash under the steering wheel) and this made no difference either. It seems as if the motor is only getting power popping down and no power popping up. Have any of you guys had this problem before and if so how did you fix it? Thanks Fintan Mc Wall (List owner)

did you check the multi pin plug that connects the headlight gubbins into the wiring loom? mine had a couple of corroded pins so 10 minutes bypassing some of the connections with 6 inches of wire fixed my problems getting it up.
