There is a common problem with the high pressure power steering hose leaking, I've the same problem on mine and will eventually take it off and try and get it rebuilt at a hydraulic hose place. A replacement from Toyota is about ?100.Rebuilt hose should be about ?30.

The back of the power steering pump (on an ST185) has been known to leak
also - that is not to say there isn't a hose leak as well, but the pump
itself can leak too.

Apparently it can, the pump can be accessed and removed via the tie
bar hole, methinks it's a job for people with little girly hands
and/or those that are double jointed.

I'm getting back into it, I used to think nothing of getting the spanners out and then I bought the celica and got all paranoid about it being really technical, now i'm looking forward to getting deep down and dirty with it. It's only nuts and bolts.
