Does anyone know any tricks to get the sliding door on the previa (mine is '92) to work better.
Not shutting easily & not opening well.
Thanks

My sister was having the same problem, oddly enough it was only on the very hot days. She decided to not go to get it repaired because the mechanic said it would be pretty costly. If it works, I would probably just leave it be!

You will get a lot of crud on middle of door, and need to grease upper black painted track in middle of body. Put white lithium grease on finger and run on upper inside track, and be careful not to get cut, or use a cotton swab. Grease wheel on very bottom of door, and upper wheel on top track (at eye level). Rub some bar soap on rubber seal around door perimeter, and this will keep from winter sticking, during wet weather condensation. If the door rubber freezes, pull handle with right hand, and stick two fingers of left hand in crack on center rear door hole on body, and pull on door simultaneously. Otherwise you may pull off door handle. Power door lock on this door sticks, too. Easy fix: Clean contacts on door body, bottom oval unit with two small round spring loaded contacts, on body, and right behind front door. Clean with swab and lighter fluid on outside, after sanding with emory board. Cut a cardboard shim out of an old memo pad backer, and put behind oval contact panel. (unbolt and place between rubber and painted body surface) Then swab a little silicone sealant around the cardboard, to prevent any moisture entry. And, check child lock switch on inside door jamb. You may need to shove something in the hole to keep the switch from accidentally moving to the wrong position.

Mine use to stick alot I have an 93 Previa and use WD 40 on it once a month and that seemed to cure the problem most of the time.
