I have a 2007 Prius and I love everything about this car. I hear that the Prius 2009 will be totally redesigned. Does anyone know about this?

Also, I like to know if the plug in feature will be a standard feature in the newer model. I hear is very expensive to make the conversion.

Toyota is very quiet on the 2009 model. Rumors are running wild. It is supposed to be 1" wider and 4" shorter and will use the same batteries as now. No plug in for 2009 . Engine to be replaced with the 1800 cc motor which will improve overall mileage to 50 mpg. Like I said all rumor. Sgt Tip
