Hi,
I'm looking at buying a 1985 LandCruiser SWB w Diesel (no turbo) and
350k kilometers. The big question is how much life is reasonably
left in a vehicle like this? Approx cost 7k Australian. Also it
seems like the transmission is a little stiff when shifting gears
compared to lower miles vehicles arround the same year. Any ideas
what might be causing this? Would it be due to wear? My limited
experience leads me to believe difficult shifting would be due to
other factors possibly clutch issues not transmission.
The other choice would be a similar year w turbo and only 80k
kilometers for about 13k Australian.
Thanks for any feedback.
Cheers
Shawn
