Hello,
I have a 2003 Matrix with the stock GM 6 CD changer. It works great, but most of the buttons have a lot of the black pant worn off. Because it is exposing the clear plastic underneath, the backlight shines bright red on these areas. This is really distracting when driving at night and I was wondering if there was a way to correct this without replacing the whole shebang. Maybe some sort of opaque pant or even a new facing? It is a pretty insignificant problem but it is a little annoying and the perfectionist/tinker bug just cannot let it stand. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Thanks
