I purchased a 4 cyl 4x4 Tacoma in 1997. 193K miles later, I am trading it in as part of the recall. Loved the truck, so I'm getting another one. Here's my problem. I just sunk almost $600 into a brand new set of 31x10.5 R15LT's. It's killing me to send this truck to the crusher with practically brand new tires. Is there any way that the '08 Tacomas (R16) can run on a smaller tire (R15)? And if so, what are the complications?

Thanks,
Toytac97
