I have a ra29 that needs differential work. I need to know if I should replace the worn parts, get a new differential or swap for another. Like a LSD out of a AE86 corolla or 85 supra. I am planning to switch to a more powerful engine and might need a stonger rearend. PLEASE HELP. SEVNT7

I'd just swap one out of a supra, around 84-86 shopuld do the trick, that's what I did with my rearend. I've got a 77 RA29 and even though the rearend's in the 70's were virtualy bulletproof, I changed out just to make sure. Although it all depends on your personal preference I suppose, I know another owner of a 77 RA29 that changed out his differentials, but that can just get to be a pain in the a** if you ask me. If you're looking to do that though you can go with differentials from LC engeneering, they make some high quality parts. you can get them at www.lcengineering.com. What year of RA29 are you working on? Engine? Good luck. -Pvt. Craig Montague, E-01, USMC Poolee
