I just heard that there was a new recall for 4 Runners - something about the power steering? Where can I find offical details for this and other recall items for my 94 4 Runner? A recall means that they will pay for everything at the dealership right? Parts and labor?

usually they will send you a postcard stating there has been a recall. you could always call your local dealership and give them your VIN# if you wanted to find out right away. yep, usually a recall is parts and labor. However, I did have something with Toyota where they only paid for half of the charges.

If you all want to send me your VIN's on your 4Runners, I'll be glad to put them in the system and let you know if they qualify for the recall. Not all 4Runners qualify, i.e...castings in different plants, etc. I'll then post back to the group or you via private to let you know. e.
