i had the same trouble with my right light. might sound silly but take the
sidelight off and u should be able to get ur hand thru the hole to get to the
connector that actually goes to the motor it's a bunch of about 6 wires,
probably a bad connection here on the wire that winds the motor up. u can
hand wind the light up thru an access hole directly under the motor, u'll see
a knob that is on a spindle that is the end of the motor axle. use this hole
to look thru to locate the wires, with the sidelight removed light will shine
thru and lying under the car looking up towards the sidelight hole u should
spot the motor control wires. hoik the connector out the sidelight hole and
jjjjjjiggle it a bit. see if that cures ur light flip up. if it does checkout
ur connector..cheers stomper
