I'm trying to replace my busted corner light assembly on my 93 pickup, but am having difficulty separating it from the front grill. Any tips or suggestions?

Well I pried it off using a flat screwdriver without doing too much damage.

Paint scrapers are always good, too, for the plying...any minor damage from the screwdriver?
