"Toyota 101" in Redwood City, CA (just a few minutes drive south of the SF Airport, on Rt. 101) is renting me a Prius for $675 per month ($755 with tax); daily & weekly rates might be at a higher cost per day. The rental dept. phone # is 650-599-0300. Very nice people to deal with!

- Peter

I rented one from San Francisco Toyota two weeks ago for three days. It was $50/day, and they don't usually rent it, it's there for test drives. I don't know whether they'll do a repeat performance...

Cheers,
Alan

Try contacting John Woodruff at Freeman Toyota in Santa Rosa. E-mail is <johnw@...>.

He quoted me a rate of $26/day plust tax and license ($86 for a 3-day weekend) and an "internet rate" of $193/week back in late April. Don't know if their rates have changed or not.

Cheers,
Jay
