Hi. I have 1994 Toyota Pickup SR5 4X4 with the 3.0 V6. I am the second owner, and the truck has 183,000 miles on it. I have been fighting 2 oil leaks for about 2 years, and about 8 months ago my check engine light comes on. I took it to the dealer, and it turns out is a low compression in the #1 cylinder most likely caused by a burnt out valve. They want $2500 for a valve job. But I have the tools and help to replace the engine for about $3000. I have found several remanufactured engines on the internet. I'm looking for some references, or any help in finding a quality remanufactured engine in the $3000 price range. That price is for a long block.

Thanks,
