Im new to the forum and I have a 2005 4runner that I need to replace the front rotors. I just had them turned a few months ago and they are still pulsating when depressing the brake. I was wondering how diffictult is it to replace the rotors and where is the best place to get rotors from. Also is there a brake pad that will last me more than 35k miles. Is it normal for rotors to pulsate at 35k. Thanks for the help.

consider your driving habits if it keeps reoccuring or if you are towing alot, otherwise it shouldnt be that common, unless you have aftermarket brake pads, sometimes they do not dissapaite the heat well and cause the rotors to warp, use toyota pads and 35k is normal wear, to replace the rotors you need a 17mm socket to remove the caliper and a 12mm socket to remove the brake line from the spindle to let you move the caliper easier, then the rotor comes right off, and be careful with the speed sensor wire
