Ok. I've posted this question on other forums and absolutely no one has responded. All I want to know is if others have slight creaking sounds coming from the butt area of the driver seat on their corolla (mine is a brand new 08 rolla S). The sounds are simliar to what you would expect to hear from the springs of an older mattress. I pinpointed the noise by pushing down on the area towards the back of the driver seat cushion. I think it might have something to do with the seat height adjustment assembly because the spring-creak noise isn't as bad when the seat is in the highest position. Thank you to anyone that responds. I guess if I don't get any repsonses in this forum either, then everyone just thinks that this is a dumb post like someone posting how to check tire pressure!

now to your problem:
i have a 2007 corolla and some times i hear this sounds too,
i think its nothing dangerous in it, it just annoying.
if you waring you can go to garage and ask them to check it by warranty you have.

i have this problem also, i thought it was the seat but it turned out to be the seatbelt. i took it in for my warrenty and they never found the problem. everytime i went to shift it squeeked, later started to mess with stuff to find it and found my problem. i havnt gotten any WD40 yet but will soon hoping that will help.

my squeek sounds just like yours is sounding so my suggestion is to check your seatbelt unless you know for sure its the seat

i forgot to mention in the reply above ^^^ its the seatbelt buckle while the its buckled not the seatbelt strap or anything like that
