Hi all,

The seat belt of the passenger side middle row of my '03 Sienna CE got stuck (not retractable any more). I moved my son's seat somewhere else for now but I don't know how to expose the assembly that retracts the belt so that I can fix it myself. Any ideas?
I saw a reference to a recall to Sienna 04, 05 for exact same problem, any 03 owners out there who had same problem?

Try giving the seatbelt a few nice and hard tugs so that the locking mechanism can release... see if that works.

I have the same problem with my Sienna 2000, middle seat behind driver. Tried the hard tugs which you have suggested. Did not work. What else can be tried. Replacement is an expensive option.

if its a safety issue. don't dealer warranty for it?
