Hi Group:
I am new with the toyotas. I inherited a 97 Avalon from my daughter to sell. No owners manuel came with the car. The batter died while the car was sitting up for sale. I pulled the battery out & put it on charge. When I reinstalled it, the car will not start. There is no power to the passenger compartment of the car. The car will turn over, but will not even try to start. No power to the windows or locks. I'm thinking the security system is doing what it was designed to do, but I can't tkurn it off. I donot have a key remote so it has to be done in the car. Alo, I can't push the car into the shop becaus it won't come out of park.. This is a really nice car but this is really becoming a pain. Any help would be greatly appreciated.. There has to be a wayt to overide the security system.

Thanks
Greg in Tidewater Va.
