I wonder how much alike the Sequoia and Tundra will be? The same frame, engines, transmission, rear end, interior, and options. With the Tundra being such a success, I'm sure the Sequoia will enter the market with an edge, I can't wait to drive one. I am going to sell my 96 Ford Explorer and buy a Sequoia. Ray

not true.

The Tundra has what Toyota calls a Triple Tech frame:
The front third is boxed for strength to carry the engine and provide frontal crash protection. The middle, where the cabin sits, is a rolled C-channel with top and bottom flanged reinforcements for strength but also to provide better ride comfort. The rear section is an open C-channel for maximum bending resistance and strength to carry heavy loads.

Sequoia uses a fully boxed frame.

Hi there..I think the Tundra is still better..I love the tundra..It has good parts and it is really efficient and powerful.
