I've got an '02 Squoia I bought used. For some reason, it didn't have a keyless remote when I got it. I struck a deal to purchase it with the dealership contingient on having a keyless remote, among other things. When I took delivery, it had one remote. I'm told it was a dealer installed option in '02. Before Thanksgiving, my wife lost the keychain that had the only key fob we had for the car. So, off to the Toyota dealership I went with the spare key, to purchase a new key and order a new key fob. After they told me what the key fob cost, I decided I would try to find one on the internet instead. I did find what I thought was the right replacement, and ordered two. When they arrived, they weren't the correct replacement. I called the company and they promptly sent out what THEY thought was the correct replacement, which in fact wasn't right at all. So, I took a picture of the original, copied down the FCC ID, and sent them a message saying that I would be happy to send the originals they shipped back if they would PLEASE send me the same ones that were in the picture.
Today, they same type of remotes showed up in the mailbox with programming instructions. It didn't work. Does anyone have the correct procedure for programming these? The FCC ID is
ELVATDD. Attached is what they look like.
Any help would be appreciated.
