My owner's manual says to change oil at 5000
miles or 4months if driving primarily in short trips
below freezing,or a lot on rough or unpaved roads;
something like that. Guess it depends on where you live and
your drive to follow or not.<br>Don

NOW I know why in Canada Toyota says to do the
oil at 7500km (beside the fact that the customer pays
for all of them vs the U.S. where the dealer pays for
them for the first 3 years)! They think that Canada is
always below freezing and the roads are rough and
unpaved. :)

I haven't even looked under the hood yet. (Just got my Prius last week) I went
through the manual but there's absolutely no graphic as to where the oil stick
is. Where is it?

Check page 198 in the OM. Nice layout of the
engine compartment. The ICE dipstick is in a great
place; right in front of the ICE.<br>Mitch<br><br>no
graphic as to where the oil stick is. Where is it?
