I have Toyota tercel 1993 i just got a new problem with my car. When i brak or complete stop so the car engine and the whole body is shaking. When i speed up then everything goes normal i also changed the air filter + oil but still i have the same problem. Please help, it will be greatly appreciated.

I'd check for a broken engine mount....

Grab the engine and pull it around see if you can hear any clunks

Hello, I have '98 Tercel automatic. Recently i noticed the same thing - when I brake or stop completely, strange vibrations start. I tryed and when I put the shift into Neutral or Parking position the vibrations disappeared. So I think that the problem is in the gearbox. And another thing, when the car has just been started it is OK. This occurs after 5 min, maybe when the temperature is up.
