We just took delivery of our new Prius last week
on October 18th. We ordered it in July!
Does
anyone know of any exterior side molding available for
the Prius? Not sure if this would look good, but I am
curious to know if there is something in the aftermarket
to put on the doors to protect from door dings, etc.
I just love the Prius!

Someone else also posted that they found suitable
side molding at their local Pep Boys auto store, but I
don't remember if it was in this group or another. Let
us know what you choose and if you're happy with the
product.

Got mine at Pep Boys - 3/8" wide, white with
silver 'chrome' edges (for '01 Super White) -
$9.95.
Looks great, and easy to apply. Just be careful - it's
extremely sticky, so be sure that where you put it is where
you want it!

John

Check out the Files section of the Prius-Mods group on Yahoo! Someone has posted
pictures of his side-molding installation along with info on how to
purchase.

Barbara

I went to Pep Boys and got a plain black molding.
Works fine but getting it down straight was tricky. As
mentioned already, there are a few pictures in the Photos
section of Prius with molding. I think it really helps
the look of the car.

George
