Hi there. I am a new member and after some advice on my 1988 Soarer GT 2.o ltr non turbo. I have just had the head gasket replaced and the speedo does not work and also a dash light with the image of the engine block comes up. Can anyone assist? I don't have an owners manual.

The speedometer could just simply be a bad fuse, or mayb a bad cable. You may want to check your odometer too, because I have found that when the speedometer starts going, the odometer does the same.

I'm not sure about the pic of the engine block, you can try calling your local dealership and see if they can give you information on that model. if not try one of the auto stores in your area. I know Advanced and Auto Zone carrry manuals for all different makes and models from the 70's, 80's, 90's and more.
