I finally got the soft top on my FJ40... with no prior experience and no instructions, it was oodles of fun... I felt like I was reinventing the wheel. This was my first time looking at it... it turns out it's kinda scratched up. Is there any way to take the scratches out of the windows?... what can I use to clean them?... is windex ok? Thanks for any advice

Hey, I sold the one I had a few yrs ago, used, came with the truck when I bought it back Jan 1995. I never bother with it. It was missing hardware but still sold for $100 and the guy who got it made the missing stuff and put it on. Check on Ebay for any luck. Also, I sent for a catalog couple yrs back and they carry the two types, the "bikini and the convertible". They aren't cheap!! Lots of goodies in this catalog. Don't know the website if any. Not in the book. "DOWNEY OFF ROAD Manufacturing" 10001 South Pioneer Blvd P.O. Box 3725 Santa Fe Springs, CA. 90670-3221 (562)949-9494 Dave 89 V-6 4Runner (Stock)

Jack it up. Put a 6" lift on your Runner and you will be sitting taller and seeing better ahead, not to mention you will be able to look inside other vehicles as you pass or they pass you. Hehehehehe..........
