Lately my brakes have been squeaking only a little when I'm in reverse. My car isn't that old, it's just a little over a year. I don't think my brakes are shot yet....what do you guys think? It's only when I'm in reverse.

I sort of had a problem like that my mechanic took the wheels off and rubbed some gel i think it was some sort of brake grease against the rotor he said it was a groove or scratch that made it do it .

Apparently, most late model Corollas exhibit this behavior. I know mine does, and the brakes were just replaced a year or so ago. Man, it's annoying. I've heard of various types of grease/lubrication for this, but I haven't tried them. As far as I know, it's just annoying and not a real problem.
